Forest fire damaged Many Eucalyptus trees

Erode: A fire broke out in the forest, under the sanctuary of the Sathiya mangalam Tigers protection area.

It has been reported that many trees have been damaged by burning fire on a 50-acre area. This wildfire on the Sathiya mangalam Tiger Reserve area yesterday started spreading fire much earlier this morning.

More than 1000 eucalyptus trees have been damaged by the fire due to the wind speed. In addition, the burnt trees have fallen on the road and traffic is affected.

All buses and vehicles coming from Sathiya mangalam to Karnataka via State Highway are parked at Sathiya mangalam. No vehicle was allowed in the area due to wildfire.
