The latest report suggests that H Vinoth will direct Vijay Sethupathi next. H Vinoth has reportedly narrated a new story to actor Vijay Sethupathi and impressed the actor. Vijay Sethupathi has also shown his interest to act in the film, and the official announcement might arrive once the documents are settled

However, there are also speculations that Vijay Sethupathi might come together with Thala Ajith as the director H Vinoth has been almost confirmed to join with the actor for the third time. Ajith is reported to be playing a character of negative shade in his next film with H Vinoth.

H Vinoth is currently working on the post-production work of ‘Valimai’ featuring Ajith as a cop, and the film produced by Boney Kapoor is slated to release for Pongal 2022.
