Heavy rains in southern districts

According to the Meteorological Center, rainfall is still in the region today, as it is widely rained in Nilgiris, Madurai, Pudukottai and Kanchipuram districts.

Heavy rainfall occurred in Coonoor in Nilgiris district. In Coonoor and Kotagiri, rain was over at yesterday night. The police warned the vehicles to go slow in the mountainous road.

Madurai district was cloudy with daylight yesterday. With heavy rain in the evening, rains were flooded on roads in Mattuthavani and Goripalayam.
