‘Pushpa’ the multilingual film is all set to release on December 17 in theatres around the world. ‘Pushpa’ is directed by Sukumar and the music for the movie was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The movie features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the main roles.

The movie crew had a press meet in Chennai on December 14 with the lead character Allu Arjun and other co-stars. During the press meet, Allu Arjun stated that his movie ‘Pushpa’ in Tamil matters a lot to him.

Speaking to the media, he stated that he always wanted his films to do well in Tamil because this is where he grew up. Moreover, he wanted his teachers, friends in Chennai to talk about his films. As soon as the ‘Saamy Saamy’ track reached big in the city, he was thrilled as People in Hyderabad used to address him as a Tamil guy and he was never shy about that because that’s the truth.

Along with Allu Arjun, music composer Devi Sri Prasad, lyricist Madhan Karky and director Siva were present in the press meet. The event was also attended by producers – Tamil Kumaran, Allu Bobby, Kalaipuli S Thanu, RB Choudary and others.
