Hero MotoCorp share price on Wednesday fell by around 2 per cent. The share prices on both indexes sensex and nifty were down. This comes even as there are reports of Income Tax raids being carried out on Hero MotoCorp Chairman and MD Pawan Munjal.

Searches have been going on at Munjal’s residence and office in Gurgaon since Wednesday morning.

Hero MotoCorp share price on BSE fell by 1.99 per cent or 48.10 points to Rs 2373.20. On NSE, the share price on Hero MotoCorp limited was down by 2.07 per cent or 50.15 points to Rs 2,373.50.

HERO MOTOCORP PLANS

Hero MotoCorp sold 358,254 units in February 2022 and the company was expecting a swift revival in sales in coming months, according to a Reuters report.

In February this year, Hero MotoCorp announced that it would collaborate with Bharat Petroleum for a large scale electric vehicle (EV)-charging infrastructure. The company said in the first phase, charging stations will be set up across nine cities.
