In 2023 in India ,  yesterday was the highest  single – day rise in infections with many new covid cases . It was numbered as 3,095 cases.  The city health department has shared the data and there are 15,208 active cases . H3N2 influenza cases in the city have spiked up. The fresh covid cases of Wednesday  is  2,151. 98.78% is the current recovery rate and at 0.03% are the active cases. The total recoveries amounted to over 4 crore. In Goa and Gujarat 2 people died due to this infection. Yesterday  Delhi  had 300 cases .  From September  1 2023 this is the first record of it’s kind. To review the Covid 19 situation , Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will hold a meeting in the capital . In Uttar Pradesh all frontline workers have been put on an “ alert mode” , as there is an increase of covid cases there.  All positive samples will be sent for Genome sequencing as per government  order.
