Days before their big clash against Kolkata Knightriders in their home ground, the Delhi Capitals team have reportedly had multiple bats and kit equipment stolen after they made their trip from Bengaluru.

DC have endured a torrid time in the IPL this season as they’re the only team yet to register a win in the league. The Capitals have lost all five of the matches that they have played this season in the IPL.

Their last outing was against RCB at the Chinnaswamy stadium, where the DC bowlers were able to restrict the hosts to a modest total of 174 on the track, which is considered to be a batting wicket.

DC are yet to make a statement on the matter.

The Capitals will need to pull off a miracle to stay in the hunt for the playoffs this season and received some motivation from Sourav Ganguly, who told the team that they can still win nine out of nine games.

“We need to put this behind us. Back the captain, back each other together and we’ll come back fresh next game. We can’t get worse than this we can only get better, still nine games to go and we can win 9 out of 9,” Ganguly said in a video shared by Delhi Capitals.
