Suriya recently delivered the court drama ‘Jai Bhim’, which is directed by TJ Gnanavel, and the film received good responses from the audience. But the film landed in trouble after a few people stood against it for a few scenes. The head of Vanniyar Sangam, Arulmozhi has reportedly filed a case at the Chidambaram court against Suriya and Jyothika, who produced ‘Jai Bhim’, along with the director TJ Gnanavel. Arulmozhi has registered a case under seven sections: intent to defamation, punishment for defamation, intent to cause a riot, animosity between different groups, criminal intimidation, intentional insult, and public mischief.

‘Jai Bhim’ is based on the 1993 real-life legal battle by advocate Chandru, and Suriya has reprised his role in the film. Recently, TJ Gananavel shared his grief for annoying certain community people. But, not again did the team face trouble after the case filed by Vanniyar Sangam head Arulmozhi.
