Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2021 exam dates are eagerly awaited. National Testing Agency, NTA had postponed the JEE Main 2021 April and May Exams and has not yet released the revised schedule. As per the information available, NTA is likely to announce the new schedule only by end of the month. Dates and notice would be released on jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

Officials at NTA have refused to comment on the tentative dates or schedule for the April and May exams. It was, however, indicated that  both April and May sessions would be conducted and between a gap of 20 to 25 days. As to when that would be, no information was shared.

Sources and various reports suggest that NTA would announce the schedule by end of the month after reviewing the present situation. As the numbers continue to dip across the country, many experts are of the opinion that JEE Main 2021 exams may be conducted in the third week of July or second week of August.

As for the actual dates, there is no official confirmation. On May 26, 2021, IIT Kharagpur  postponed the JEE Advanced 2021 scheduled for July 3. The announcement clearly suggested that JEE Main 2021 exams would not be conducted before July. The Ministry of Education, in a high level meeting, had also discussed the possible dates for the JEE and NEET entrance exams.

Reports also suggest that the announcement of JEE Main 2021 exam dates are expected after the CBSE Board Exam 2021 evaluation criteria is submitted. With June 17 as the deadline for the same, experts are of the opinion that JEE exam dates are likely to be announced by last week of June. In the meanwhile, experts have asked students to start their revision, expecting the exams in July.
