Jio recently rolled out its Buy One Get One offer for JioPhone users. The plans give all-in-one benefits including data and unlimited voice calls for free. Moreover, these plans offer double the benefits to enhance affordability for JioPhone users. This means when JioPhone users recharge a plan of an eligible value, they will get an additional recharge plan of the same value for free. Previously, Jio offered Buy One Get One plans starting at Rs 75, however, recently the telco introduced new prepaid plans under the offer priced at Rs 39 and 69. Following are the plans that give double benefits with JioPhone.

The Rs 39 and Rs 69 JioPhone plans have a validity of 14 days and offer data and calling benefits. The Rs 39 prepaid plan offers 100 MB of high-speed data, unlimited calling and 14 days validity. The plan thus offers 1400 MB data spread for 14 days with speed reduced to 64 Kbps after exhaustion of high-speed data. The JioPhone plan priced at Rs 69 and offers 0.5 GB high-speed data per day, truly unlimited calling, and 14 days validity. The plan thus offers 7GB data spread over 14 days with speed reduced to 64 Kbps after exhaustion of high-speed data.

Other JioPhone prepaid plans giving the buy 1 get 1 free benefits are priced at Rs 75, Rs 125, Rs 175, Rs 155 and Rs 185. All plans have a 28-day validity and give 0.1GB, 0.5GB, 1GB and 2GB data per day respectively. The Rs 75 prepaid plan gives 50 SMS per day while the Rs 25 prepaid plan gives 300 SMS per day. The Rs 155 and the Rs 185 plan give 100 SMS per day. After high-speed data, the speed in all the above-stated plans is reduced to 64 Kbps.

JioPhone users must however keep in mind that the telco does not give free SMS with the Rs 39 and Rs 69 Buy One Get One JioPhone plans. This is presumably in line with the current development telecom companies have adopted wherein users getting recharge under Rs 100 do not get SMS benefits anymore. However, the Rs 75 plan from JioPhone gives 50 SMS per day. Before the recent change, telecom operators used to offer a bundled package of call time, SMS, and data for internet usage with their entry-level packages. The new move will now remove the bundled SMS offering from this lot.
