Director Lokesh Kanagaraj took to Twitter on Saturday to welcome stunt directors Anbariv (Anbu and Arivu) to his upcoming film, Vikram. He also shared a photo of himself with Kamal Haasan and the stunt directors. Last year, Lokesh Kanagraj and Kamal Hassan announced that they will be collaborating on the film titled Vikram. The teaser of Vikram went crazy viral on social media.

STUNT DIRECTORS ANBARIV JOIN TEAM VIKRAM

It looks like Kamal Haasan’s Vikram is finally materialising. After the initial announcement last year, there has been no update regarding the film. Yesterday (June 12), the Master director took to Twitter to share an announcement regarding Vikram.

In a post, he revealed that stunt choreographers Anbariv will be choreographing the action blocks in the film. Announcing the same, Lokesh wrote, “Welcome onboard @anbariv @ikamalhaasan @RKFI #Vikram (sic).”

The photo shows Lokesh Kanagraj, Kamal Haasan and the stunt directors posing for the camera.

FAHADH FAASIL TO PLAY KAMAL HAASAN’S VILLAIN IN VIKRAM

Vikram is tipped to be an action thriller from director Lokesh Kanagraj. A few months ago, celebrated Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil confirmed that he will be playing the villain in the film. Reportedly, Lokesh is also in talks with Vijay Sethupathi for an important role.

Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Vikram is not a sequel to the 1986 film of the same name. The technical crew includes composer Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer Girish Gangadharan and editor Philomin Raj. The film’s shooting is expected to commence sometime this year.
