Kaun  Banega  Crorepati 4 is being hosted by Amitabh Bachchan .  He started yesterday’s show by introducing  Shilpa Beejeta  on the hot seat.  She was the winner of the fastest finger  first round. He walked  down the memory lane.  He said how his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan worked two jobs owing to cash crunch. He was saying during his childhood days , his father used to come home  late. Amitabh himself said due to his hectic work schedule he missed his children Shwetha Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan. He was very busy so he didn’t spend much time with them. He worked on three films together  at a time so he used to do three shifts in a day. This made him spend less time at home. He narrated an incident when his father used to come home late. He said, “When I was a kid, my father used to come home very late. After wrapping up his work for the day, he would go to the poetry sammelan where he would earn Rs 50 to Rs 100. That used to be an extra income for our family. In total, he would earn around Rs 600. So this poetry competition would go up till 2am to 3am and I would eagerly wait for my father at the door, waiting for him to come soon.” While playing KBC many glittering celebrities took the hotseat and played the game. The guest list included Mithali Madhumitha. She received the gallantry award as the first female officer. The others were actor Aamir Khan, athletic Mary Kom and Sunil Chhetri.
