Maha Pushkara Festival:Special Abhishekam

Special pujas were held at Thaipoopa Mandapam on the 6th day of Thamirabarani Maha Pushkara Festival, which is celebrated after 144 years. Following this, a special anointing took place with 16 kinds of abishek to the Thamiraparani river

Following this, the glass bangle, vermilion and yellow silk were dedicated to the Thamiraparani river. This was followed by Maha Aradhi with 7 priests.

During the time of Maha Arati, devotees worshiped one another. Thousands of devotees participated in this function.
