Metro services extended in Chennai

Chennai: The Metro service from Chennai airport has been taken up to extend through the Tambaram . Metro Rail service is currently under way from Thiruvottiyur to reached Airport and Chennai to Parangimalai through Koyambedu.

The government has decided to set up a suburban bus station in Urapakkam. This is about Rs. 304 crores are set aside for the first phase.

In this phase, it is planned to extend the Metro service from Chennai Airport to Tambaram via Perungalathur, Vandalur and kilambakkam.
