Xiaomi is set to hold the first-ever sale for its Mi NoteBook Ultra and Mi NoteBook Pro in India today. Launched last week at Xiaomi’s Smarter Living 2022 event, the new laptops will go on sale at 12 PM today, August 31.

For those unaware, the new Mi laptops come with 11th Gen Intel Core processors as a highlight and feature Windows 10 that will be upgradable to Windows 11 soon. The laptops sport a sleek form factor to offer portability to those planning to use them on the move.

Here is a look at the price and options on the new Mi NoteBook models.

Mi NoteBook Ultra, Mi NoteBook Pro price and availability

Both the Mi NoteBook Ultra and Mi NoteBook Pro will be available in multiple configurations. As for the starting prices, the Mi NoteBook Ultra is priced at Rs 59,999 for the base variant with an Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB RAM. Mi Notebook Pro, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 56,999 for the same specifications.

There are two other options on each of the laptops. A 16GB RAM option for the Mi NoteBook Pro with Core i5 processor is priced at Rs 59,999. Another with Core i7 processor and 16GB RAM will retail for Rs 72,999. As for the Mi Notebook Ultra, the prices for variants with the same configurations as above stand at Rs 63,999 and Rs 76,999 respectively.

Both the Mi NoteBooks will be available in a single colour option called Lustrous Grey. They will retail starting today on Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores. There are introductory offers on the new laptops by Xiaomi. On purchase through Amazon, for instance, buyers using HDFC Bank credit and debit cards or opting for EMI options can avail of an instant discount of Rs 4,500. A purchase on Mi.com can ensure Play-and-Win coupons worth Rs 750 to buyers.

Mi Notebook Ultra features

The Mi Notebook Ultra is the more premium of the two laptops. It features a 15.6-inch 3.2k (or WQHD+) display with 90Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. It has a peak brightness of 300 nits and offers offer 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut coverage. The laptop also supports DC dimming to reduce flickering under light. It will be available in two CPUs options. You can choose between 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake Core i5 or Core i7 variants. There is also an option to choose from 8GB or 16GB of RAM. The internal storage has been fixed at 512GB.

The laptop weighs 1.7 kilograms and is 17.9mm thick. It is available in a single Lustrous Gray colour variant, features a backlit keyboard and a built-in 720p webcam. Xiaomi has also embedded the fingerprint scanner on top of the power button.

For connectivity, you get a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB type-C port, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB 2.0 port and an HDMI port. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack. The audio is taken care by a two 2W speaker system with DTS audio support. The laptop packs a 70WHr battery which is claimed to give 12 hours of back up. It ships with a 65W fast charger.

The customers will get a Windows 10 Home Edition along with MS Office Home and Student edition.

Mi Notebook Pro features

The Mi Notebook Pro has identical features as the Ultra variant. However, it comes with a 14-inch IPS anti-glare display with 2.5k resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. It can support up to 60Hz refresh rate. It uses a 56WHr battery which is claimed to offer an 11-hour back up. The machine is lighter at 1.4 kgs.
