Tollywood’s legendary actor Nandamuri Balakrishna turns a year older today and his fans have been flooding social media with heartfelt wishes for the actor. On the occasion of his 61st birthday, the makers has officially announced his next film, tentatively titled #NBK107.

The upcoming movie will be helmed by Gopichand Malineni and is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movies banner. The music of the film will be scored by ace music director SS Thaman. 

The makers of the film took to their Twitter handle and made the special announcement. They wrote, “Wishing our NataSimham #NandamuriBalakrishna garu a very Happy Birthday..#NBK107 will be a Memorable one under @megopichand’s Blockbuster Direction A @MusicThaman Musical #HappyBirthdayNBK(Sic).”

The composer took to his social media handle to wish Balakrishna on his special day as he tweeted, “Here is Our #NBK107 Many more happy returns to Our #NandamuriBalakrishna Gaaru #HappyBirthdayNBK @megopichand@MythriOfficial Get ur Earphones Now VOLUME UP . #HuntStartsSoon(Sic)”

The regular shoot is likely to commence once Balakrishna is done with the shoot of Boyapati Srinu’s Akhanda. The makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next film Akhanda took to Twitter on Wednesday (June 9) to unveil a new poster of the actor ahead of his birthday. Akhanda is the third collaboration of director Boyapati Sreenu and Balakrishna. Earlier, they had worked together on Simha and Legend.

Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “Wishing our #Akhanda, #NandamuriBalakrishna garu, A very Happy Birthday. In the poster, Nandamuri can be seen in a pastel orange shirt and black trousers complete with a half jacket. Flaunting his moustache and cool shades, the poster is celebratory and colourful.

Produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under Dwaraka Creations banner, Akhanda stars Pragya Jaiswal, Srikanth, and Jagapathi Babu in important roles. The film has music from S Thaman and C Ram Prasad is handling the cinematography.
