NEET 2017 MBBS medical entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted tentatively in May 7, 2017 at various test centres across the nation.

Admissions into all government, private, deemed medical and dental institutes of the nation will be done based on NEET 2017.

However, the official notification is yet to be out at the official website AIPMT website, aipmt.nic.in.

Moreover, the last date of registration process is likely to be out January 23, 2017.

The applicants must be between 17 to 25 years as on 31st December of the admission year (for reserved applicants maximum age limit is 30 years).

In order to be eligible for NEET 2017 MBBS medical entrance exam, the applicants must have cleared class 12  or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology & Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English (appearing applicants can also apply). The applicants of NEET 2016 must have scored minimum 50% in PCB group (45% for general PH and 40% for SC/ST/OBC).

Candidates can remit or pay the application fees through various modes like as- DR/CR card in the favour of CBSE gateway account or through e-challan from SBI/HDFC or ICICI. For general applicants the fees for /OBC- is 1400/ while For ST/SC/PH – 750/-.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission in medical colleges will be held in eight languages- Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu- for the academic year 2017-18.

As per the information available on the official website, the paper pattern of the NEET exam will consist of 180 multiple choice questions.

Meanwhile, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2016 was successfully conducted on July 24 and the results for the same were released on August 16. The results of the second round of seat allotment for NEET 2016 were declared on September 12.
