Celebrating 29 years of working in films, Shah Rukh Khan recently took to Twitter to share how overwhelmed he is to see that fans were remembering his first movie. He made his debut in Bollywood with the film Deewana in 1991, which co-starred Divya Bharti. After sharing the midnight tweet, he mentioned that he’d do something special for his fans today.

He wrote, “Been working. Just saw the ’overwhelmed ness’ of the lov of nearly 30 yrs u r showering on me here. Realised it’s more than half my life in the service of hoping to entertain u all. Will take out time tomorrow & share some love back personally. Thx needed to feel loved….”

And guess what! SRK conducted an Ask Me Anything session on Twitter this morning. These Q & A sessions have always revealed actor’s fun, witty and goofy side with his thougtful answers. However, today, a certain user tried to troll SRK by calling him “berozgaar (jobless)” considering he hasn’t announced any film ever since his last release, Aanand L Rai’s Zero that hit the screens in 2018. The film featured Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, and despite heavy promotions throughout the year, the movie didn’t impress fans much at the box office.

Shah Rukh took over a year’s break and focussed on spending time with his family which he had missed doing before because of his busy schedules. When a netizen asked SRK, “App bhi Berozgaar ho gaye kya sir.. Hamari trah.”, he gave a rather epic response saying “Jo kuch nahi karte….woh…”

During the session, fans asked all sorts of questions to which the actor answered by revealing some information but not much. A fan suggested that the actor should release a dance number since a movie release might not be a good option right now. SRK wrote back, “Nahi yaar ab toh bahut saari movies hi aayengi.

Another netizen asked SRK how 2020 has changed him. The actor said that he worked less and spent more time with his family.

After Zero, SRK took a brief hiatus from coming back to the silver screen. However, he did a special collaboration with son Aryan Khan for voicing the characters of Mufasa and Simba The Lion King Hindi.

SRK will be seen in the upcoming film Pathan. Though an official announcement is yet to be made, the actor has already begun shooting for the movie. It will co-star Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

Recently, the actor shared a photo in his bearded avatar and said that he had to get a trim and start working. He wrote, “They say time is measured in days, months and beards….Time now for a trim and get back to work I guess…Wishing everyone who is getting back to a bit of normalcy…safe and healthy days and months of work ahead….love u all.”
