Oppo may be working on a new phone in the A-series and it is dubbed A54s. This may sound familiar to you because it is. The Oppo A54s may be a slightly tweaked version of the Oppo A54 that the company launched back in March. And now the key specifications and renders of the Oppo A54s have surfaced online, giving us a fuller look at what this phone is going to be, and also hinting at an imminent launch. Not just that, the price of the Oppo A54s has also leaked.

Renders obtained by GizPie show the A54s will be a major detour in the A54 design. Its design is more similar to the Oppo A16 than it is to the A54s. There is a triple-camera setup on the back inside a rectangular island. At the bottom right on the phone is the Oppo logo, while the rest of the back seems to have some sort of glossy finish. On the front, there is a waterdrop-style notch at the top, which kind of tells this is going to be a budget phone. The chin is also quite thick on the phone.

The key specifications of the Oppo A54s include a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. Residing inside the notch is an 8-megapixel selfie camera, while the main camera on the back may be a 50-megapixel shooter, instead of the 13-megapixel unit on the A54 or the A16. Accompanying this camera will be a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing camera. The report said that the Oppo A54s may rock a MediaTek Helio G35 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It may boot Android 11-based ColorOS 11.

The battery information of the Oppo A54s is not available right now, but the report did say the phone will come in Pearl Blue and Crystal Black colours. This means the one in render is the former variant.

Oppo A54s may cost EUR 219 for the only variant in Europe. This translates to roughly Rs 19,000, which seems like a lot for a phone that uses an Helio G35 processor. Oppo has not launched the phone yet, so I would advise you to take this information with a pinch of salt. There is also no information on whether Oppo will bring this phone to India in the future, and if so, then when. But if you want to buy an Oppo phone right now, you can check the new A55 that is available during the festive season sale on Amazon, as well as on Oppo’s own online store
