Parliamentary Election not postponed
The Pulwama attack, the retaliation of India, the arrest of Abhinandan by Pakistani militants, has been released by the Government of India’s intensive efforts to make a parliamentary election due to a tense situation between India and Pakistan over the past few days.
Responding to a query on the matter, Indian Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora said, “India will not postpone the election issue with Pakistan and the election will take place at a particular time”.
Therefore, the current situation is that parliamentary elections will be held in April or May.
