‘Peity’ storm crossed in Andhra pradesh

The Meteorological department of the Chennai Metro has said that the storm marking in the Bay of Bengal will cross the ocean in Kakinada place in the afternoon and in the north-eastern districts of Tamil Nadu today.

It is predicted that this ‘peity’ storm will move towards Andhra and will cross the ocean at today in Kakinada.

In coastal districts of Andhra pradesh, heavy rainfall is likely to be received in Andhra Pradesh. Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal will also get heavy rainfall. Meanwhile, due to storm warnings and heavy rains, 22 passenger trains have been canceled in Andhra Pradesh.
