Inflation continues to hit fuel prices in India amid rising crude oil prices on the international market. Today, the price of petrol, which has crossed the Rs 100-mark across the country, has put a dent in the pockets of the public.

On October 11, 2021, petrol is being sold above Rs 100 per litre in most states of India. The price of petrol has increased by 30 paise per litre, whereas the rate of diesel has increased by 35 paise per litre.

As per ANI, prices of petrol and diesel have risen by Rs 0.30, hence the rates are retailing at Rs 104.44 per litre, whereas diesel is trading at Rs 93.17 per litre, in Delhi.

In Mumbai, petrol is priced at Rs 110.41 per litre, whereas diesel rates are at Rs 101.03 per litre, recording a jump from Rs 0.37.

Fuel prices have crossed the Rs 100-a-litre mark in Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Ladakh, and some cities of Bihar and Punjab.

In Kolkata, petrol prices are retailing at Rs 105.09 whereas diesel is being sold at Rs 96.28. Meanwhile, in Tamil Nadu’s Chennai, petrol prices have jumped to Rs 101.79 and diesel is being retailed at Rs 97.59.
