Amidst the fluctuating oil prices in the international market, there has been no change in the prices of vehicle fuel ie petrol and diesel in the country on Monday. As per the list released by the Indian oil marketing companies, the prices of petrol and diesel are stable on October 25.

Witnessing a hike of 35 paise per litre for five consecutive days, petrol is retailing at Rs 107.59 per litre in the national capital whereas the cost of diesel stands at Rs 96.32 per litre in Delhi.

Meanwhile, in Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs 113.46 per litre and the price of a litre of diesel is Rs 104.38. In Kolkata, the rates of petrol and diesel are at Rs 108.11 and Rs 99.43 per litre, whereas in Hyderabad, petrol has crossed the Rs 114 mark and diesel also costs Rs 105.08.

Petrol has crossed the Rs 100- mark in all the major cities of the country. At the same time, diesel is being sold for more than Rs 100 per litre in several states and union territories. At the same time, there is a continuous increase in the prices of crude oil at the international level and there has been a record jump in the prices of petrol and diesel across the country.

The price of Brent crude has crossed $ 85 per barrel. Earlier in the year 2018, crude oil had crossed $ 85. This is the highest level of crude oil in 3 years.
