‘PM Kisan Samman’ scheme launched Today

Prime Minister Modi will be launching a Rs 25,000 crore financial assistance for 12 crore farmers on Sunday(February 24).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi plans to launch ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi’ scheme in Gorakhpur on Sunday. The largest agricultural welfare project announced in the budget is to come into effect.

A sum of Rs 75,000 crore has been allocated for this project. The first installment is to pay 2 thousand rupees in the bank account of each farmer. Accordingly, 6 thousand rupees will be paid to farmers in 3 installments annually.
