Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Gold was supposed to hit screens in September but that did not happen. The film was postponed as the team needed more time to wrap up its post-production. Actor Baburaj has now revealed that the film will open in theatres sometime in December. He, however, did not reveal the exact date. Gold is a comedy-drama, produced by Supriya Menon and Listin Stephen. It is directed by Alphonse Puthren, best known to many for directing Premam (2015).

It is said that Gold will open in theatres on December 23 but his post doesn’t mention the same. One is likely to get an update regarding the same in the days to come.
