Priyanka Chopra is a busy bee. The actress has many projects in the pipeline. Before diving neck-deep into work, Priyanka, like everyone else, was restricted to her home due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The actress made the most of her time at home with her husband Nick Jonas, who is also usually very busy with his career. After staying home with her family for months, it was difficult for Priyanka to get back to work. In her recent interview, the actress revealed how she reacted when she returned to work.

PRIYANKA CRIED BEFORE RETURNING TO WORK

Priyanka recently returned to Los Angeles from the UK, where she was shooting for her upcoming show Citadel. But Priyanka’s first project after the pandemic gap was Keanu Reeves-starrer The Matrix: Resurrections. In a recent interview with Vogue India, she revealed that she cried on the plane while going to Germany to shoot the film.

She said, “I spent six months at home feeling really safe with my family, and then Germany was the first time I left to go work. I cried on the plane. I was terrified.” Priyanka felt good after seeing that the Covid-19 protocols were followed on the set. Nick Jonas also helped her cope with the fear. She said, “Nick, my mum, my family came with me and we spent Christmas and New Year together while I was filming. It was really nice to not have to come back to an empty home. Nick wanted to help me settle in. Then, when everyone left, I got on to Citadel.”

WHEN PRIYANKA CHOPRA BECAME NICK’S SNACK

Yesterday (August 30), the Barfi actress shared pictures of herself enjoying at a Los Angeles beach with her husband Nick Jonas. In the post, Nick is seen having a snack off Priyanka’s bum. The actress is seen laughing at the camera as she takes a selfie. She wrote, “Snack,” with a fork, knife emoji and a heart emoji. She shared another picture of herself enjoying the sun in a black and red bikini.

Other than Citadel and The Matrix: Resurrections, Priyanka also has Text For You with Celine Dion and Sam Heughan. Most recently, she announced her big Bollywood comeback, Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. The film will be directed by Farhan Akhtar.
