Priyanka Chopra has shown her support for Mary Kom after her exit from Tokyo Olympics. Mary lost to Colombia’s Ingrit Valencia at the games. Now, Priyanka has shared a note calling the boxer an ultimate champion.

PRIYANKA CHOPRA SUPPORTS MARY KOM

Priyanka Chopra played Mary Kom in her biopic in 2014. The actress interacted and trained with Mary to get the nuances of her role right and ended up having a good relationship with the sports personality. Now, she has shared a note praising Mary Kom. She wrote, “This is what the ultimate champion looks like. MARY KOM ON OLYMPIC EXIT

Mary Kom spoke about the match to India Today. She said, “I will play until I’m 40, this match was very unfortunate. The decision was very unfortunate. They clearly said they will not accept a single protest from the beginning. This was cleared before the bout. I thought I will come back with the medal but I don’t know what’s wrong. I can’t still believe that I’ve lost the match.”
