Allu Arjun’s Pushpa The Rise and Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata are set to release in theatres on December 25 and January 13, respectively. On Monday, August 16, makers of the films took to Twitter after scenes were leaked online. Condemning the act, a complaint was filed at the Cyber Crime Department in Hyderabad to take strict action against the culprits behind the leak. The makers have also requested the audience to discourage piracy.

On Monday (August 16), Mythri Movie Makers took to Twitter to issue a statement after scenes from both their films, Pushpa and Sarkaru Vaari Paata, were leaked online. The makers have taken stringent action against the culprits behind the leaks and filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Department. In the statement, they also asked the audience not to encourage piracy and wait for the films to release in theatres.

Sharing the statement, the makers wrote, “We are deeply disturbed by the recent leaks of our movie material online. We condemn it and have lodged a complaint against the same in the cyber crime department. The culprits would soon be booked by the law. Please do not encourage piracy (sic).”

Directed by Sukumar, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise (Part 1) is set to release in theatres on Christmas (December 25). The film features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles. The first song from the film, titled Daakko Daakko Meka in Telugu has garnered 28 million views on YouTube.

On the other hand, Mahesh Babu is shooting for Parasuram Petla’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata in Goa. The film stars Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles. It is set to hit theatres on January 13 as Sankranti gift to fans.
