Rain expected in coastal districts

The Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli districts have been affected due to the strengthening of the East Direction, according to the Chennai Meteorological Survey.

The coastal area of Tamil Nadu is said to have a moderate rainfall in some parts of the state and may be heavy rainfall in one or two places in Tamil Nadu.

Meteorologists have said that the sky will be cloudy and light rains expected for Chennai.
