Now that Xiaomi has introduced its Redmi Note 11 in India as Redmi Note 11T 5G, the company maybe working to bring a 4G variant of the device to the country. The Redmi Note 11 4G has already marked its debut in China and a new report now suggests that an India launch may not be too far away.
For those unaware, Redmi Note 11 4G was launched in China last month and came with features like MediaTek Helio G88 processor, 5000mAh battery and other such highlights. The phone comes as an affordable option to the Redmi Note 11, which also saw the day of light in China back in October.
Since then, Redmi Note 11 has already found its way to India as the Redmi Note 11T 5G, which has been priced at Rs 16,999 for the base variant. A new report by 91mobiles now suggests that Xiaomi will also introduce the Redmi Note 11 4G in India soon. Citing industry sources, the report claims that the Redmi Note 11 4G will come as the second Note 11-series phone in India after the Redmi Note 11T 5G.
This is in line with Xiaomi’s earlier practice of launching both 4G and 5G variants for its phone in the country. We saw the Mi 11 Lite 4G debut in India earlier this year, only to be followed by a 5G option for the phone months later. So the same can be expected for the Redmi Note 11 as well.
Other than the launch confirmation, the report also provides some details on the options to be available on the phone. As per this, Redmi Note 11 4G will be available in three models. Two of these will come with a 4GB RAM, along with 64GB and 128GB storage. A third variant will boast of a 6GB RAM and a 128GB storage.
The report even mentions that the Redmi Note 11 4G will come in Graphite Gray, Twilight Blue, and Star Blue colour options.
Thanks to the phone’s launch in China, we already know all about the other specifications of the phone. Redmi Note 11 4G comes with a MediaTek Helio G88 processor and a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD panel. It features support for expandable storage via a microSD card, on top of the 128GB in-built storage.
For optics, the phone features a triple camera setup at the back, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. There is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter at the front with a centred punch-hole cutout on the display.
The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging support. It runs Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 custom OS out of the box.
