The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s RRR is wreaking havoc in North India. Within a week of its release, RRR turned out to be the highest-grossing film in North India in the post-pandemic era. RRR BEATS SOORYAVANSHI AND PUSHPA: THE RISE
It is safe to say that Jr NTR and Ram Charan-starrer RRR is on a record-breaking spree. The film, which hit the theatres on March 25, is having a dream run at the box office across the globe. Earlier, the Hindi version surpassed the lifetime collection of Baahubali.
According to trade reports, RRR is now the highest-grossing film in the North belt in the post-pandemic era. Within a week, RRR surpassed Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and Allu Arjuns Pushpa: The Rise at the box office.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, in his tweet, wrote that RRR has earned Rs 120.59 crore in six days. His tweet read, “#RRR reboots and revives biz in mass circuits… Nears *Week 1* biz of #Sooryavanshi [Rs 120.66 cr] in *6 days*… HIGHEST GROSSING FILM [Week 1; post pandemic]… Fri 20.07 cr, Sat 24 cr, Sun 31.50 cr, Mon 17 cr, Tue 15.02 cr, Wed 13 cr.
