Saira Banu, who was hospitalised for blood pressure related issues three days ago, has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. A family friend confirmed the news to news agency Asian News International (ANI). Dilip Kumar, who died on July 7, 2021, was also admitted to the same hospital. He breathed his last at the hospital.

Saira Banu is currently undergoing treatment at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. She has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. As per a family friend, Banu had been hospitalised three days ago due to issues with her blood pressure levels. Saira was with Dilip Kumar in his last days. He passed away in the hospital on July 7, 2021.

DILIP KUMAR’S DEATH

Dilip Kumar breathed his last at 7.30 am in Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital. Informing fans of the tragic news, family friend of Dilip Kumar, Faisal Farooqui, tweeted from the actor’s official Twitter handle, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return. – Faisal Farooqui (sic).”

Saira Banu made her Bollywood debut in 1961 with the film Junglee opposite late actor Shammi Kapoor. She is celebrated for films like Padosan (1968), Hera Pheri (1976), Diwani (1967) and Purab Aur Paschim (1970).
