Ever since Samantha announced her separation from Naga Chaitanya, trolls have been abusing her left, right and centre. Many claimed that Samantha’s relationship with her stylist Preetham Jukalker was one of the reasons for their divorce. Now, Jukalker has reacted to the rumours saying Naga Chaitanya could have put an end to the link-up rumours between him and Samantha with a statement.

SAMANTHA’S STYLIST PREETHAM IS UPSET WITH NAGA CHAITANYA

On October 2, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya took to social media to announce their separation. Ever since their separation was made official, trolls have been speculating about the reasons for their divorce. Many suggest that Samantha’s close relationship with her stylist Preetham Jukalker was the reason behind the couple’s separation.

In an interview to The Times of India, Preetham Jukalker revealed that he is upset with the stoic silence of Naga Chaitanya. He revealed that Samantha is like her sister and calls her jiji. He said, “Everybody knows that I call Samantha as ‘Jiji’ which is a north Indian term for sister. How can there possibly be a link-up between us?”

Speaking about Naga Chaitanya’s silence on this issue, Preetham said, “I’ve known Chaitanya for years. He too knows the kind of relationship that Samantha and I have. I feel that he could’ve spoken up and told people not to comment like that about Sam and me. Even if he had issued one statement, it would have made a lot of difference. Right now, it’s these so-called fans who are making these statements and spreading false rumours. I think a statement from Chaitanya’s side would’ve helped keep these people in check.”

Preetham Jukalker also revealed that he has been receiving a lot of abusive messages on his social media pages, which has taken a toll on his mental health. He maintained that he will stand up for himself and his friend, Samantha.

SAMANTHA AND NAGA CHAITANYA FILE FOR DIVORCE BY MUTUAL CONSENT

Ending four years of their marriage, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya left many of their fans heartbroken. Reportedly, the Shaakuntalam actress was offered Rs 200 crore alimony by Chay and his family members. The actress has refused the same as she doesn’t want to take a single penny from him.

Samantha is now concentrating on her work. She will be seen next on Jr NTR’s Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu, which will air on October 14. She also has Shaakuntalam and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal in the pipeline.
