As we enter the final week of 2021, smartphone manufacturers are preparing to release their new offerings in 2022. Samsung is also preparing to debut the much awaited flagship Galaxy S22 in February.

Before that, however, Samsung is expected to release a few more devices in January, including the Galaxy S21 FE and Samsung Galaxy M33 5G. The budget friendly Galaxy M33 5G was spotted on the Safety Korea certification website and more recently on the Geekbench database website.

According to the information on Geekbench, the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G has a model number SM-M336BU. The Galaxy M33 5G scored 726 points in the single-core tests and 1830 points in the multi-core Geekbench tests.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G is said to feature Android 12-based One UI 4.0 skin out-of-the-box. It will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1200 5G processor paired with 6GB of RAM.

Other than this, there is not any other information regarding the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G to learn from the certification. However, the phone was recently certified by Safety Korea and it revealed that the device will pack a 5,830 mAh rated battery.

Also, if rumours are to be believed the smartphone will come with a 6.5-inch water-drop display. It will have a Full-HD+ resolution. As far as optics are concerned, we can expect the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G to feature a quad rear camera setup with a 64 megapixel primary camera and a 13 megapixel selfie camera in the front.

The smartphone is expected to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack suggesting that the users will have to use a USB Type-C port for the audio. The smartphone will likely come with an IP67 water and dust resistant rating. The Galaxy M33 5G is the successor to the Galaxy M32 5G, which was released in India in August.

It is also expected that the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G will support fast charging as Galaxy M32 5G came only with 15W charging support but had only a 5000 mAh battery. Since the M33 5G has a 6000 mAh battery, we can expect a faster charging speed.

The smartphone is expected to be released in January 2022, however, the specific date has yet to be revealed by Samsung.
