Virat Kohli has blown hot and cold in the current edition of the Indian Premier League. With the scores of 12,1 and 48 in the last three matches, Kohli is yet to show his prolific 2016 form where he scored a mind-boggling 973 runs at an average of 81.08.
While his returns in the previous seasons have diminished considerably, the former Indian captain has shown promising signs in this edition that he is in good touch and a big innings is knocking at the door.
Kohli, ahead of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s game against Lucknow Super Giants took to Instagram to post images from his practice session where he can be seen sweating it out in the nets.
Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen commented on the post stating that he cannot wait to see him in action later today at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
Pietersen is known to be a close friend of Virat Kohli and like any others would surely be hoping that the talismanic right hander returns to his old form.
RCB will be up against an inform Lucknow Super Giants led by their captain KL Rahul – who has been in tremendous form. Lucknow have shown signs of gelling well and building around Rahul, who put up an incredible century performance in his last game.
