Good news for all Shah Rukh Khan fans as the actor might soon start shooting for director Atlee’s next film. According to news reports, the actor will start a 10-day schedule of the film in Pune in September. He was earlier shooting for Siddharth Anand’s Pathan, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The makers of Pathan are yet to lock the locations of the international schedule of Pathan and therefore, SRK has time for Atlee’s yet-to-be-titled project.

SHAH RUKH KHAN TO START SHOOTING OF ATLEE’S NEXT

According to Mid-Day, Shah Rukh Khan will start shooting for Tamil filmmaker Atlee’s next film in September. The actor will kick-start the project with a 10-day shooting schedule in Pune. A source close to the development told the publication that as the makers of Pathan are deciding on the locations for its international shoot, SRK can now concentrate on Atlee’s film. The source said, “Shah Rukh has wrapped up his Pathan portions on home turf. Now, the team is working on locking the locations for its international schedule. So, the actor felt it best to turn his attention to Atlee’s film, which would have rolled earlier had it not been for the pandemic.”

The news about Shah Rukh Khan doing Atlee’s film has been doing the rounds for quite some time now.

Talking about the film, the source added, “It will be a 10-day shoot. While the film has been in the news since 2020, it will be officially announced on the day it goes on floors. The subsequent schedules will be conducted in Mumbai, Dubai and a few other locations.”

NAYANTHARA RUMOURED TO MAKE BOLLYWOOD DEBUT WITH ATLEE’S NEXT

South actress Nayanthara is rumoured to be in talks to play the female lead in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Atlee’s next. Reports claim director Atlee has planned to finalise a South Indian actress to play the female lead. As of now, Nayanthara is the front-runner and is currently in consideration for the role.

If Nayanthara signs the film, it will be her first Bollywood film. An official confirmation regarding Nayanthara’s inclusion in the film is yet to be made.

The film will also mark Atlee’s debut in Bollywood. The film is reported to be mounted on a budget of Rs 200 crore and reportedly also features Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover.
