Shruti Haasan, who will be seen next in Laabam in theatres, took to her Instagram stories on Thursday, September 2, to share an adorable picture with her boyfriend Santanu Hazarika from their night out. In the post, the Krack actress thanked Santanu and called him an angel for always having her back.

Shruti Haasan, who spent the lockdown with boyfriend Santanu Hazarika during the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic, often shares adorable pictures with her beau. On Thursday, September 2, the Srimanthudu actress took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of herself with her friend Puja Puri and her boyfriend from a dinner party.

Sharing the picture, Shruti thanked Santanu for always being there for her and called him an angel. She wrote, “When god sends you angelsIm so blessed. Thank you @santanu_hazarika_art @pujpuri (sic).”

Shruti Hassan and Santanu Hazarika, who are fully vaccinated, recently stepped out for a lunch date. In a recent post, Shruti revealed how Santanu and her cat Clara have been the best lockdown buddies.

Thanking them for lifting her spirits during the lockdown, she wrote, “It’s such a tough time – I do silly things, creative things boring chores to lift my spirits – I’m thankful for my lockdown buddies who are relentless photobombers and such lovely souls – today I felt like being unproductive – I felt like stopping for a second and acknowledging my anxiety – in my heart is a prayer for everyone suffering and I meditate on putting out my little bit of good energy out toward the chaos – tell me how you’re feeling – let’s try and help each other ? Let me know if there’s any information want me to share or anything we should be talking about ? and in any case here’s a giant hug for you (sic).

On the work front, Shruti Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi’s Laabam is set to release in theatres on September 9. She also has Prabhas’s Salaar in the pipeline. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film will release in theatres on April 14, 2022.
