Actor Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film ‘Don’ is touted to be an out-and-out comedy entertainer set against the college backdrops with actress Priyanka Arul Mohan playing the female lead role. While the shooting of the film was wrapped up earlier, actor Soori had completed dubbing for his portions last week. Now, actor Sivakarthikeyan has completed dubbing for his portions despite the heavy rain and water logging in the city.
‘Don’ is directed by debutant Cibi Chakaravarthi, who worked as an associate to Atlee. The post-production work for the film has also been going on simultaneously, with actors dubbing for their portions in the film. Meanwhile, there also reports that the film is gearing up for release on Republic Day January 26, 2022. An official announcement regarding the release date is yet to be announced.

Sharing a picture from the dubbing studio, Sivakarthikeyan posted, “அடாது மழையிலும் விடாது டப்பிங். Completed my dubbing for #DON Lots of emotions,revisited my college days ,Loved this journey.” (sic)

The film is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah in association with Sivakarthikeyan’s production house. Other actors like Soori, Samuthirakani, Vijay TV fame Sivangi, RJ Vijay, Munishkanth, Bala Saravanan, Kaali Venkat and a few more actors will be playing pivotal roles in the film. Anirudh will be reuniting with Sivakarthikeyan for the seventh time in this film, and will be scoring music.
