Sony Xperia XZ2: Android pie update reached soon!

In its announcement earlier, Sony had confirmed that the Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 Premium , Xperia XZ2 Compact, Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZ1, and Xperia XZ1 Compact will be receiving the Android 9 Pie update in early November.However, the company has reportedly already starting rolling out the update for Sony Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact users.

Sony Xperia XZ2 and Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact users in Europe began reporting on a thread on Reddit of the availability of this Android Pie update, but now US users have also spotted the update arriving on their devices. If you live in one of these regions, and are not seeing an update notification, we recommend that you head to the Settings menu to manually check for the update.

Sony is currently rolling out the update to multiple people within the community.
