Sports player gets 3% quota in job sector

The Government of Tamil Nadu has issued a notice on the Chief Minister’s announcement that the best player in the sport will be given 3% reservation for government jobs.

In this, a high level committee headed by the Chief Secretary said that detailed guidelines will be implemented.

Those participating in national or state-of-the-art sports competitions are eligible to qualify for 3% sportsquota available in Tamil Nadu, who participate in recognized international sports competitions.
