The sensational news that media published day before yesterday , Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina , CSK star who is a key player to be noted in upcoming IPL season which is to be held at UAE arrives India in an emergency case due to some personal issues and will miss an entire season for this year IPL, confirmed by officials of CSK Franchise . This statement have not only disappointed IPL fans but also saddened all cricket fans to miss a genuine cricket performance from Raina. But the reason behind his sudden arrival to India is that his uncle were killed by robbers in their house in Punjab’s Pathankot.

This incident took place at then intervening night of August 19 and 20 at Thariyal village in Punjab , as the victim was identified as 58 years old Ashok Kumar , a Government contractor along with his four family members with sustained with injuries in a attack by robbers in punjab’s pathankot district. At first Senior police official has said that they can’t confirm the victim is a relation of cricketer , while Shyam Lal ,elder brother of Mr.Kumar confirmed that the victim was cricketer’s uncle. According to police, three to four members of the dangerous ” kale kachhewala” gang had come with an intention to loot, rob and attacked Ashok Kumar and his family members at their house in Thariyal Village near Madhopur of Pathankot.

During the attack , they were sleeping on the terrace of their house. Ashok kumar suffered with severe head injuries and died on the same night , police said to reports. The senior superintendent of police Gulneet Singh Khurana said he had no confirmation about the victim’s relation with Indian cricketer. he also added that robbers looted some cash and gold from the house. CSK family and other players supported raina and asked him to stay strong with his uncle’s demise.
