It is well known that actor Suriya is busy with his upcoming film ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ directed by Pandiraj. Touted to be a village subject with a strong social message, the film features Suriya and Priyankaa Mohan in lead roles. While the film was long believed to be December 24, 2021, though it was never officially announced, the latest buzz is that the will release a week earlier on December 17, 2021.

The film is produced by Sun Pictures and it has music by D Imman. With Vijay-starrer ‘Beast’, also produced by Sun Pictures announced a Pongal 2022 release, looks like Suriya’s ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ release is being advanced by a week.

The film also has Sathyaraj, Soori, Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, and Ilavarasu in assisting roles. Priyankaa and Soori’s character names in the film are Aadhini and Aavani Soolamani respectively. The film also has Vinay Rai playing a crucial role with MS Bhaskar, Tiger Thangadurai and Cooku With Comali Pugazh in supporting roles.
