Temple to be closed on the lunar eclipse – 27th July

The largest lunar eclipse of this century is all set to occur on 27th July as per the Tamil calendar year Vilambi, month Aani, and the stars Uthiradam and Thiruvonam on Friday.

The eclipse starts at 11.54 PM. Subsequently, the cover will get removed gradually and the lunar eclipse will be over by early morning 3.49 AM on 28th July.

During the period of this lunar eclipse, the corridors of the famous temple of Tirupathi will remain closed 12 hours from 4.00 PM on 27th July until early morning 4.00 AM on 28th July,
