Actor Vijay has completed his shooting schedule with director Nelson Dilipkumar for ‘Beast’ recently and the movie will be released in January 2022. Reportedly, Vijay is set to take a break for three months before kicking off his next project which is tentatively titled as ‘Thalapathy 66’ with director Vamshi Paidipally.

‘Thalapathy 66’ will be a bilingual Tami-Telugu movie which will further strengthen Vijay’s position in the south film industry. The movie is now in pre-production stage and there has not been any official announcement yet regarding the lead actress of the project. It is expected that after the release of ‘Beast’, updates on ‘Thalapathy 66’ regarding the cast and crew will be announced.

It is also alleged that actor Vijay does not like to overlap the shooting date for his movies and that is why earlier it was announced that the movie will start shooting in April 2022.

According to reports, Vijay will be playing the role of a man who suffers from a rare mental disorder known as Erotomania and suffers thinking that someone loves him. The movie is expected to be filled with romance, comedy and emotional quotient.

As of now, except for the production, nothing else has been announced and fans are eagerly waiting for Vijay’s next role with a new team.
