The actor got to meet one of his die-heart fans and it was his Bell Bottom co-star Vaani Kapoor’s father, Shiv Kapoor. The actress captured her father having his fan moment with Akshay and shared it on social media.

Vaani Kapoor is awaiting the release of her upcoming film, Bell Bottom. She has been sharing several photos and videos with co-stars Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta. Taking to her official Instagram handle, the actress recently shared a photo featuring her father Shiv Kapoor having his fan moment with Akshay Kumar.

Bhumi Pednekar, who will soon be seen with Akshay Kumar in Raksha Bandhan loved the photo. She dropped a heart emoji to express the same.

BELL BOTTOM TO RELEASE IN 3D IN THEATRES ON AUGUST 19

Akshay Kumar-starrer Bell Bottom will hit theatres on August 19. The spy thriller will be the first Hindi movie to hit theatres during the second wave of the pandemic. The actor on Tuesday said the team of his upcoming film rose to the challenge of releasing the film in theatres amid the coronavirus pandemic as there is little to life without some risk.

The pressure is there on everybody but I’m very sure that things are going to work out. There’s a challenge, a risk. But if you haven’t taken the risk in life, then what have you done? So we have gone with it,” said Akshay Kumar.

ABOUT BELL BOTTOM

Bell Bottom is a spy thriller set in the 80s. It is based on the plane hijacks that took India by storm back then. The actor will be seen in the role of a RAW agent in the film. It also stars Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles. Lara Dutta is essaying the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who was in power at that time, in the film. Vaani plays Kumar’s wife in the film.
