Vairamuthu give Responds to singer Chinmayi

A raging topic over the past few days has been the MeToo movement across India with reputed lyricist Vairamuthu’s name too being cited for sexual harassment against two singers, which was brought to the limelight on Twitter by singer Chinmayi.

That said, Vairamuthu moments back today (10.10.2018) took to his Twitter page to post his reply stating, “It has become a habit off late across the country to shame known names by making false claims. I am being targeted frequently in recent times and this accusation too is one among them. I will not respond to such false allegations and time will reveal the truth,”.

However, actor Siddharth finally tweeted that multiple women were speaking up against Vairamuthu and that their voices must be heard. “When somebody of Chinmayi’s stature, who has so much to lose, stands by the accusers, that’s huge!” wrote the actor. He further added there will be an investigation.
