Actors Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday and boxing legend Mike Tyson recently wrapped up the shooting of Puri Jagannadh’s Liger in the US. Co-producer Charmme Kaur shared photos of their wrap-up party on social media, which features Mike along with Vijay and Ananya.

LIGER TEAM WRAPS UP SHOOT IN THE US

Mike Tyson joined the cast for Liger shoot in mid-November. Sharing the photos from Liger wrap-up party, Charmme wrote, “Amazing hosting you guys for the wrap-up party at one of the most prominent restaurants, ‘Catch’! Best schedule & delicious Food(sic).”

MIKE TYSON’S SPECIAL APPEARANCE IN LIGER

About Mike Tyson’s cameo, a source close to the film had revealed that Liger might also have a special ode to the infamous ear-biting moment from his 1997 fight with Evander Holyfield. “Mike is still talked-about for that moment which is one of the most controversial fights in boxing history. His cameo in Liger is a huge deal for the makers and there is talk that they might include a reference to the ear-biting episode in the film as well,” added the source.

Liger was scheduled to release in theatres on September 9, but the film got delayed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
