Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming film, Annabelle Sethupathi, is all set to release directly on an OTT platform. Ahead of the film’s release, the makers took to Twitter to announce that the first-look poster will release today, August 26, at 5 pm. According to multiple reports, the streaming rights have been sold to Disney+Hotstar for a whopping sum.

In 2020, Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu joined hands for a horror comedy film, directed by Deepak Sundarajan, son of veteran director and actor Sundarajan. The shooting of Annabelle Sethupathi was wrapped up in less than a month in Jaipur.

Taapsee Pannu took to Twitter to share a photo of herself with her back facing the camera. She also shared an update regarding her upcoming film, Annabelle Sethupathi. She wrote, “The next in line for 2021. #AnnabelleSethupathy Meeting you officially at 5pm today. #Tamil #Telugu #Hindi (sic).”

Annabelle Sethupathi was initially slated to release in theatres. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the makers decided to go the OTT way.
