In Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur , clashes erupted between two groups over ‘desecration’ of a religious flag . Many shops and vehicles were set on fire during the clashes. Immediately prohibitory orders under section 144 of CRPC are in force. Police told PTI that this tension had erupted in the area since Saturday night . A piece of meat was tagged to Ram Navami flag this was noted by members of a local organisation. They then started the commotion. Bricks were being thrown against each other . The co-operation of people is sought , said Vijaya Jadhav  the East Singhbhum District Deputy Commissioner. It’s because the peace is trying to be disturbed by some anti- social elements.  On Sunday an autorickshaw and two shops were set ablaze in Shastinagar of Jamshedpur .  Immediately to disperse the mob , the police had to fire tear gas shells. “Prohibitory Orders under Section 144 of CrPC were clamped in the area,” Sub-Divisional Officer (Dhalbhum), Piyush Sinha, told PTI. The situation is under control now as per police information . To maintain law and order the police has deployed required police force. “Forces are conducting an early morning flag march. Section 144 is enforced in the area. Internet services are barred till the next order,” Executive Magistrate, Jyoti Kumari, told ANI. “The situation is under control and the warring groups have been dispersed. We have also taken a few persons into custody,” SSP Prabhat Kumar said.
