Chennai Meteorological center predicts that Nine districts are prone to receive heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms. Coimbatore, Neelagiri, Dharmapuri, Erode, Salem, Dindigul, Theni, Krishnagiri and Namakkal are the nine districts which received an alert of heavy Rainfall .

Followed by Tamil Nadu, Indian Meteorological department has issued an orange alert for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and other coastal districts in Maharashtra, conveying that “heavy to very heavy” rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in the region on Wednesday.
